Itinerary

Day 01: CUSCO / PUERTO MALDONADO

Transfer to Cusco airport for our flight to Puerto Maldonado. Arrival and transfer to the town of Puerto Maldonado, where we will visit the market for some last minute shopping. Transfer to the pier on the Madre de Dios River for a 1 1/2 hour boat ride to our lodge. Arrival and lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the jungle before returning to our lodge for dinner. Overnight at your lodge.

Day 02: PUERTO MALDONADO

A four hour morning tour to the lake known as “Cocha Perdida”. You will return to your lodge for lunch before visiting Monkey Island in the afternoon. After dinner that evening you will take a canoe ride on the river to see the alligators along its shore, before returning to the lodge to spend the night.

Day 03: PUERTO MALDONADO / CUSCO

Transfer to Puerto Maldonado airport
